Another year has rolled around in the life of Charity Joy Sauve. This year Charity decided to celebrate her Birthday in Hobbit fashion (you'll just have to ask her if you don't understand;) by taking all of us to the premier of the movie "Courageous" (by the makers of "Facing the Giants" and "Fireproof"). It was an exciting, tense, tear jerking, laughter bringing, intensely Christian movie. Highly recommended, and we are very thankful to Charity for her "hobbit gift".
Charity herself received two more Bantam hens to add to her diverse flocks of little birds, as well as her very own camera, and various other snacks and little things.
I tried my hand at reinventing a dish that Charity has requested for multiple Birthdays. A chocolate Avocado pie with an Almond butter layer on top of a graham cracker crust!
Charity is the talented and confirmed "oldest child" of the family. She is adept at clearing computer difficulties, excels at making difficult puzzles, diligent in grinding grain for our chickens, and is interested in healthy living and eating. But much more, she is a daughter of the King, striving to live more like Him.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"
Jeremiah 29:11
