Remember the Titanic - Women and Children First!

Last weekend the men of the Sauvé and Eddy families were privileged to attend the 10th annual dinner & celebration of the Christian Boys' and Men's Titanic Society in Washington D.C. The 10 hour drive was tiring, but the scenery along the way was beautifully picturesque and there was plenty of good fellowship. Meanwhile, the ladies of the families enjoyed a wonderful time of sewing, baking, and picnics at the Sauvé's home in Riverview. A huge THANK YOU to the Eddy's for making this wonderful time possible for us! :)

Please check out Doug Phillips' Blog for more details and pictures of the Titanic Society Dinner & Memorial.
We will be posting lots of our own pictures soon - stay posted!

Below is a collection of pictures from this past weekend! Enjoy!

Thursday evening the Eddy's came down in time for dinner and afterwards many of us participated in and enjoyed a fun game of basketball!

Here are Theresa,
Christianna and Faith
waiting their turns.

Early Friday morning everyone was up and about
getting the last minute packing done, eating breakfast and putting things in the van.
Then after a moment of prayer and hugs were passed around,
us women stood out on the porch and bid our traveling men farewell.

As the men
were traveling

over mountains,

through tunnels

and across valleys.

... passing through Ohio,

Pennsylvania,

Maryland and

into Virginia...

...The women folk were working on making ten aprons that Theresa needed for an upcoming event, and enjoying a nice picnic lunch on Lake Erie. Following are some pictures from their time spent by the lake.
