...On a Wintery Day...

...We went for a walk through the town. Josiah, Christianna, Faith, Theresa and I (Grace). The snow was falling lightly as we made a quick stop at the library to drop off Charity. When we came out and headed over to the quilt shop the flakes were coming down more heavily. After drooling over bolts and bolts of gorgeous fabric and talking with the friendly ladies there working on quilts we stepped out again into the swirling snow globe and made our way towards the Mill, stopping briefly to take pictures on the porch of our dear "wish it were open again" Parlor. A quick stop for a snow ball fight in front of the town hall and then a quickening of our pace to get to the covered bridge before we turned into snowballs! What a beautiful sight! All around us the glory of our great Creator filled our view, a sweet reminder of Christ's cleansing blood washing us as white as snow!

"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Isaiah 1:18

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7

Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.
