Stacking letters, creating words.

Whenever we start back into our schooling after our winter break, Mother always has a week of educational games before we start in for earnest. One of the games we played this year was, UpWords. A more complicated sophisticated version of Scrabble.

We had dictionaries handy, supposedly just to "check"word we had already thought of to make sure they were real.

Whenever I have played scrabble I have always had a hard time thinking of more than four letter words. With UP Words, though you can always stack on someones else idea! This is what we started out with. (Yes mailer is a word, look in Websters 1828 dictionary)

This is how we ended!
