Update from John

Dear Friends and Family,
The Lord has taught me many things over the last three months and I continue to grow and mature through his leadings. This last week here in Korea was one of mighty ups and downs emotionally and mentally but I believe God is using all this to make me a better man.

So that said I have some good news and some bad news for all of you back in the homeland.

First the good news. God was gracious and I have succesfully passed all 5 of my initial CLEP tests. Thank you to all of you for your prayers for that. It was really encouaging how God worked out the testing schedule despite initial difficulties and then gave me the mental capacity to pass all the tests.

Now for the Bad news. After much prayer and seeking advice and counsel from loved ones I have decided per my bosses request to remain here in S. Korea for an additional 3 months. My new home date is not finalized yet but will be some time mid October. I will deeply miss the opportunities to see all of you as we had planned but will try to merely delay those plans and still visit with you all in October. My main duties as before will be program development as before but also at least for the rest of July I will be teaching 4 days a week both a online class with some 6 grade students and also my teaching duties with the kindergarten class have been increased to 4 days instead of 1. I will be continuing taking CLEP tests and aquiring my degree. Hopefully I will be able to get around a little more now that I am a little more used to things here.

My best wishes to all of you and I will try to do a little better job with updates over the next three months.
Take care and God bless you all.

Sincerely
John Sauve
