Psalm 148:8 Fire and hail; snow and vapor; stormy wind fulfilling His word.

There are many events and happenings today that can remind us of stories in the Bible that taught us lessons (like Jesus' parables). One fine day this week, we had such a happening! It had been a cloudy and on and off rainy day. We were standing outside looking at the gorgeous cloud formations when a loud plunk attracted our attention. We looked around just in time to hear another such noise and see it's source, a large spiky object which we identified as a hailstone! As we watched more an more of this strangely shaped hail fall to the ground, we were struck by the way they seemed to be hurled out of the heavens, rather than just falling to the ground. It reminded us of what one might call the remote control hail story in the Bible found in Joshua 10:11. Following are some pictures of these remarkable hailstones! Posted by Picasa

One of the last games we played was water balloon volleyball! What a blast!! (Especially when the balloons didn't make it into the other sheet!) Afterward, those that hadn't already gotten wet, were for sure, thoroughly drenched when we brought out the regular water balloons! Posted by Picasa

A glorious Sunset to end the day!
