Hiking with John!

So sorry its taking so long, but here our some more pictures of our time with John before he left for Korea. This spring Josiah and Faith found some wonderful trails in and around Pinnacle Peak, one of the highest points in our area. So we dragged John off to enjoy a good hike.

Happy hikers start up the trail!

John the Tight Rope Stunt Man!

There was this beautiful little stream crossing the path and Grace insisted on getting some pictures of people on the log that went over it.

Whoa! John monkeying around:)

My graceful Sister!!

Mumsie and her big boy.

Now What?!

John decided to try elevator.

Wheee!

Whoops I think he's a wee bit to big for the tree.

Happy siblings.

Come on we can make it, one more step!

At the top of pinnacle peak.

Dad and the boys built this for the camera to sit on. (unfortunately we couldn't get a picture of the camera on there:)

Poor John shrunk in the sun so I decided to carry him ;)

We found this quaint little nest on the ground beside the path.

Gorgeous Grace.

Doesn't she look lovely with her flower?

My Tom Sawyer

Can he make it?!!

Don't you just love the expression on his face?

We thank God for the beautiful day and the time we were able to spend with John.

Out of Focus but thanking God for His protecting hand!

This morning Mom and I were driving back from milking the neighbors cow, when a car pulled out it front of us, and we hit it directly on the front left tire and fender. Mother had pain in her chest, so they took her to the hospital but, thanks be to God nothing was seriously wrong. Please pray for mother who is home but still has a lot of pain in her chest. I only had some minor cuts to my nose and forehead from reportedly meeting the windshield (I don't remember hitting it).

Dear focus, on the other hand suffered from severe head injuries and minor shoulder pain :)

The windshield is all cracked up where I said Hi and the front doors are jammed. Poor totaled Focus!

Praise the Lord for protecting us and keeping us from being more seriously injured.
Psalms 34:19, 20 Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He guards his bones not one of them is broken.

Still Alive

Hello everyone! Blog Mistress here, just letting you know that the Sauve family is still live and we haven't totally forgotten this blog! :) My schedule has become quite busy lately with several photo shoots and hundreds of pictures to edit the blogs have been put on the back burner for a while. The lack of posts though doesn't mean that we haven't been doing things and have no pictures to share.
This last week has been filled with spending time with John while he is home for a little while before heading back to S. Korea for the next 3 months! Visiting with friends, going on a hike with the fam, having a get together at our house and making memories with siblings are just a few things that he has done while home. I would love to share some pictures, but Blogger has been very troublesome lately and making it difficult to post numerous images without a lot of work but I will try to get some up here soon to give you a glimpse of what we have been doing!

God bless!

Put it to My Account

Philemon 18 "But if he has wronged you or
owes anything, put it to my account."

“Put it to My account,” He cries
And wraps His loving arm around
The filthy, wretched sinners at His side.

“The wrongs they’ve done, the debts they owe,
I’ll pay it all, I love them so.
Forgive them, Father, put it to My account.

“Put it to My account,” He says,
“The thorns, the scourge, the bloody death,
I bore it all that justice might be paid.”

“My perfect, spotless righteousness,
Obedient life, the blood I shed
For them, O Father; put it to My account.”

“Put it to My account,” He pleads

“Impute to them My holy life
And when You look at them, You will see Me.”

“Send Your Spirit to be there guide
And give them grace for daily trials;
Their sin, My Father, put it to My account.”

Put to His account! My life
No longer lived for self but for
The One Who loved enough to die for sinful men.

The Shepherd dies for sheep that stray,
All servants’ debts the Master pays,
My sinful life was put to His account!

Put to His account! What love
To send an only Son that
While I was a sinner, still, He died!

He came, died, rose - atonement made!
It was a price I could not pay,
Praise God! My debt was put to Christ’s account!

Joshua turns 19!

Last Saturday was our #5, resident comedian, and hunting and fishing enthusiast's 19th birthday! Joshua is such a blessing to our family in so many ways and we had a great time celebrating his birthday as a family.

For a birthday present I gave him my 35mm camera.

Guns of the Lion by Douglas Bond

Christianna made this really neat blanket out of canvas/denim and pieces of camouflage fabric.

An Illinois license plate from Mr. Reiche (hunters dream country), Stand Fast in the way of the Truth by Douglas Bond, his own complete tool set and his favorite drink...sparkling cider. ;-)

Mom worked her charm again by crafting a cake that looked like the sword Josh has.

The word of God is powerful and sharper than any sword!

Happy Birthday Josh! May God bless, lead and direct you steps through this next year as you strive to know His will for you and serve Him with your life!
