Our noon meal consisted of no unordinary substance. Fried Eggs, bacon and cornbread. However, it was how we prepared them that made it the most unique. Recently Theresa Eddy had purchased a set of Cast Iron cookware but had not of yet had the opportunity to use them. Therefore, since cooking over an open fire was going to be one of the aspects of our upcoming Church event, this day proved to be the best occasion for trying it all out. After seasoning all the utencils, we headed out back to start a fire. Because we had heard that it was best to cook over ashes and not flames, we had to wait for the fire to die down before we started. Posted by Picasa
