Other things

The other day we helped celebrate Timothy Brysons birthday.

Happy Birthday and may God bless you Timothy!

A special gift from Josh! =)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thursday evening we help with and participated in a music recital hosted by our friend Theresa Eddy.
Theresa is a wonderful piano player and has been giving lessons for several years.
All of her students performed wonderfully!
Faith and Christianna played as guest performers on Guitar and Harp.
The twins! Everyone is always getting Faith and Christianna mixed up, not only because they wear each others clothes but also because they look a lot a like at times! The only difference is that they are 8 years apart!
Joshua also did a wonderful job with his piano piece.
He truly is a gifted musician as he has never had any piano lessons in his life and only learned to read music from all the singing we do as a family! With God's help and the desire to play several beautiful songs Josh persevered and practiced and practiced and practiced...and well, by now almost our whole family knows these pieces by heart from all the times that Josh would just sit down and whirl through them!
Hee! Just a bias sister here, but by the way Daniel Bryson played wonderfully too as he was another guest performer at Theresa's recital.
To God be all the Glory!
Memorial Day
On Monday after spending the morning working in the garden and on other projects, we headed down the road to our friends for a relaxing afternoon and delicious dinner!
Christianna and her little "pillow girl" relaxing on the hammock.
"Dewey" ever ready with some kind of "lovely" expression to capture with my camera!
In the loft of the old horse barn. So many different awesome photographic spots!
Josiah swinging on the rope.
Faith opened the door in the loft of a different barn. It wasn't too far off the ground, but thankfully she decided to not jump anyways!
peeking...what is inside this barn?
Daniel swinging high.
Me and my little "daisy girl" feeling so patriotic!
Josh relaxing
Smiles!
Charity and Mom staying cool in the kitchen.
"Pillow girl" and Mr. Reiche
I felt hat-ish that day but it sure made for some dark face pictures! Oh well! =)
Going for a walk down the old cow path.
Faith driving the tractor to take the boys fishing boat down to the pond.
A game of Baseball to finish off the evening along with some singing around the campfire.
It was an enjoyable Memorial day and even though at times we use it more for a holiday to do fun things, we should always be mindful of the thousands of men who gave their lives for our nation and be ever thankful for our freedom!
To God be all the glory!
Ok folks, for a while now I have been working on getting our craft blog up and going...it still needs more work but I couldn't keep it silent for any longer so go check it out! I have so many more things to share and hopefully we will have some things to sell soon...but don't cross your fingers cause almost everything we make are gifts for friends and family.
Well anyways, I just wanted to let you know about it! Enjoy and let us know what you think.
One Month Letter from John
Hello Family and Friends,
I have made it one whole Month here in Korea. Actually Wednesday the 21'st was the "big day" but my schedule is such that I don't have time for longer-mails until the weekends. Time seems to be going past much faster now that I have sort of gotten into the groove of things at work. Recently I was put in charge of a huge audio editing project for our company(Homeschool Friend). Some of you may be familiar with the Pathway book series; we are using that program for our Korean students and many of them had requested audio accompaniment with the books. So probably over the next couple weeks I will be editing prerecorded session and recording any not yet done. I am picking up a few Korean words but found out quickly that it is bad to say Anne (hello) to Koreans b/c they then assume you can speak Korean and go off at a mile a minute. I have not yet found a church to go to consistently and may not before I leave. The language barrier makes it difficult to get a lot out of the message, and their style of worship is a little different then mine. I have been staying in shape with my 4 mile round trip to work and there is a really nice park nearby where I have actually been able to get in some Basketball and Jogging. The weather here has been simply beautiful. The last few weeks the temp has been sitting right around 70-75 and sunny. Being a peninsula it is quite humid on the whole but not intolerable. They say come late June or July it gets up to100+ but I will be leaving the 15th of July so I won't have to deal with it too much. Studies are coming along all right. I am ready to take the Micro and Macro economics CLEP tests but we are having some difficulties of arranging a time at the test site. Please pray that I will be able to take these tests soon as the timing of getting my degree depends a lot on being able to take an average of 2 tests every three weeks. I hope you all are doing well. May you all have a blessed weekend and a great week to come.
Romans 8:28 ...All things work together for good to those who love God to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Sincerely in Christ,
John Sauve
This one had quite the testimony!
True selflessness in service to God!
John said that this is the first rose he has seen this year. Gorgeous!
One Year Anniversary!
A year ago yesterday, Friday May 16th, was our final moving in day! To celebrate, praise our gracious Lord and thank all the people who came and helped us we had a lovely evening of fellowship with our old and new friends as we played games, talked, shared a delicious meal and sang around the campfire as the stars came out last night! God has been so merciful and gracious to us and we can not thank Him enough for blessing us with this property and all our wonderful friends!
Here are some pictures, that barely give a glimpse, of our blessed evening!
The beautiful sky Thursday night!
The LORD is good to all,
and His tender mercies are over all His works.
All Your works shall praise You, O LORD,
and Your saints shall bless You.
They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom,
and talk of Your power,
to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts,
and the glorious majesty of His kingdom.
