With high hopes, but relatively low expectation, Faith set out our Hummingbird feeder on Saturday. The next day, May 1st, to our boundless delight a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird visited the feeder! And he has been back every day since!
When my family lived in TN, we had so many hummingbirds! It was crazy! Sadly, in IL we rarely get more then 1 or 2 if any. Oh well. You are on the right track!

Oh how delightful! I just love these sweet little birds and find them everywhere in our grandparent's mobile home park!
